Senior Manager/Supervisor

As the General Manager at Elite Sports Clubs, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operations, including membership sales, facility management, programming, staffing, and customer service. You will lead a team of department managers and staff members to deliver exceptional experiences for our members and drive the success and growth of our organization.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including membership sales, facility maintenance, programming, and customer service.
  • Lead and manage a team of department managers and staff members, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high performance and accountability.
  • Drive membership growth and retention through effective sales and marketing strategies, member engagement initiatives, and exceptional customer service.
  • Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our facilities, equipment, and amenities, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Develop and implement programming and events that cater to the needs and interests of our members, enhancing their experience and satisfaction.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and professional development.
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and revenue goals, and seek opportunities to maximize profitability and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with members, staff, vendors, and community partners, representing the organization with professionalism and integrity.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a leadership role in the health, fitness, or recreation industry.
  • Proven track record of success in driving business growth, increasing revenue, and improving operational efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to challenges and opportunities.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to health, fitness, and recreation.
  • Passion for health, fitness, and recreation, with a commitment to promoting wellness and healthy lifestyles.
  • Flexibility in schedule required, including availability to work nights and weekends as needed.
